|Virginia Commonwealth has entered the Top 25, landing at #24 in this week's AP poll. The Rams join one other A-10 team in the poll, Butler at #15. Virginia Commonwealth started off the week with a win at home over Massachusetts, 86-68. That was followed by another win at home against George Washington, 84-57.
Butler moves down four spots in the poll following a week that began with an upset loss at home to Charlotte, 71-67. After that came a win at Fordham, 68-63.
Indiana stays number one for the second straight week. Kentucky falls out of the Top 25 this week with a loss at then-7th ranked Florida, 69-52 and an upset loss at Tennessee, 88-58.
Kansas is a big mover this week to #9 after an upset win at home over then-10th ranked Kansas State, 83-62 and a win at home over Texas, 73-47. Ohio State tanked five spots to #18 after a win against Northwestern, 69-59 and a loss to then-20th ranked Wisconsin, 71-49. Michigan State jumped up 4 spots to #4 after wins against Nebraska, 73-64 and then-4th ranked Michigan, 75-52.
