StatSheet is now projecting Virginia Commonwealth to make the NCAA Tournament as an eight seed. The Rams are the #22 team in the AP Poll and sit at #28 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 15-3 overall record and a 3-0 record in the A-10.

Over the last four games, Virginia Commonwealth excelled with wins against St. Joseph's (PA), St. Bonaventure, Dayton, and Lehigh.

Virginia Commonwealth struggles against strong competition, with a 7-3 record against the RPI Top 100 but a 1-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and an 0-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Rams have a single quality win against RPI #34 Belmont with no bad losses.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Arizona State (14-3, 3-1 Pac 12, StatRank #57), Maryland (14-3, 2-2 ACC, StatRank #71), Washington (12-5, 4-0 Pac 12, StatRank #52), and La Salle (12-4, 2-1 A-10, StatRank #38).

The first four teams out are Brigham Young (14-5, 4-1 West Coast, StatRank #43), Kentucky (11-5, 2-1 SEC, StatRank #66), Pittsburgh (14-4, 2-3 Big East, StatRank #64), and Rutgers (12-4, 3-2 Big East, StatRank #54).

The next four out are Iowa (12-5, 1-3 Big Ten, StatRank #77), St. John's (10-7, 2-3 Big East, StatRank #70), Saint Louis (12-4, 1-1 A-10, StatRank #50), and Villanova (11-6, 2-2 Big East, StatRank #68).
